New Advisor Joins TLS!

Please help us welcome our newest advisor, Breanna Cooper of Indianapolis!

Breanna is an Indianapolis native and communications specialist who holds a BA in journalism from IUPUI. Breanna previously worked at the Indianapolis Recorder, one of the oldest African American newspapers in the country, during the COVID-19 pandemic and during the 2020 social justice uprisings.

She currently serves as a press secretary for the Indiana House Democratic Caucus and is working toward a master’s in history at the University of Indianapolis, studying mass media and journalism during the Reconstruction era.
