Kelley brings over 25 years of experience in historical research, teaching, curriculum development, and public storytelling. As a cultural resource documentarian, educator, and historian, she taught U.S History, trained professionals and volunteers, and developed accessible educational materials that connects people to place, memory, and meaning. A background in historic preservation, genealogical research, and technical writing honed her ability to blend precision with narrative clarity. Just as importantly, her lived experience includes navigating grief, depression, and questions of identity which deepens her commitment to telling human-centered stories with honesty and care. This project is a continuation of that work: grounded in research, shaped by resilience, and guided by a belief in the power of shared history to foster connection and healing.
