Shannon Brown is a historian and researcher whose lifelong fascination with Abraham Lincoln led her to join the team that re-created the world's only full-scale replica of the entire Lincoln Funeral Train. That association--and Providence--led to sharing her time and talents with the Harrisburg, Lincoln & Lancaster Railroad, now the permanent home of the Funeral Train, as well as with The Lincoln Special, LLC. Along with her passion for helping people learn about the nation's long goodbye to its sixteenth president, Shannon can also be found leading tours at Lincoln Home National Historic Site in Springfield, IL. She holds degrees in journalism and education from Indiana University Bloomington and is currently working on her first book--the official story of the re-created Lincoln Funeral Train.
